Some things never change, such as the cut-throat nature of a career in finance and the hours associated with working at a big name financial firm. To get a better idea of just how much traders are working, Finbox.com recently compiled a financial ranking that illustrates which companies’ traders have the longest days based on the average number of hours reported. When looking at this ranking you’ll notice familiar heavy hitters with reputations for long hours at the top of the list. Credit Suisse took the number one spot with an average of 57.9 hours a week, with Goldman Sachs in a close second place with 57.7 hours a week.
This ranking was compiled by the Finbox team based on reviews submitted to this online community. Each user-submitted review was then reviewed by our third party auditor who is the only member of our team receiving these names - in affect maintaining their anonymity and our accuracy. A minimum of 50 reviews had to be submitted and approved for each firm in order to qualify for this ranking. Now let's see who's working the most!
