DIVISION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Improvement & Strategy Division works at the invitation of businesses and support areas across the Macquarie Group to navigate complex business issues and help facilitate change.
The Division has a skilled team of consultants providing services specifically tailored to the requirements of each business or service area. Services offered range from the provision of advice on broad strategic matters such as growth, organizational design and new product development, through to re-engineering operational processes and management of change programs.
BUSINESS BACKGROUND
Required experience: consulting skills and experience of working on consulting engagements in the areas of strategic development, revenue enhancement, operational efficiency and organization design; experience of working directly with client stakeholders.

This person will be required to develop and maintain relationships with internal clients of varying levels.

KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Business Knowledge
A background in Financial Services is preferred but not essential
Experience working in a project environment is essential

This role requires at least 3 years experience in a professional management consulting environment, in which the following consulting skills have been well developed:

QUALIFICATIONS &
BACKGROUND
(work experience)
Undergraduate degree (ideally in Finance or Business but most importantly, solid academic results).
MBA preferable
Approximately 5 years work experience, including at least 3 years in a professional consulting organization.
