Description
The Rates Quantitative Research group, a division of Markets Quantitative Research, is looking for a Quantitative Analyst to support the New York Treasury business. The Treasury Desk is a key part of the Rates Trading business.

The successful candidate will join a global team of Rates Quantitative analysts and be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the bond analytics and the analytics required for the US Treasury trading desk. Main area of expertise should ideally be in Fixed Income Bonds and Derivatives. Day to day job will include enhancing the analytics for the Bond business and being the New York point of contact for bond analytics.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering The successful candidate should have a strong numerical background Strong programming skills are also essential, particularly C/C++ Excellent communication skills as this will be an on-the-desk trader facing role.
2 years front office flow interest rate/bond experience Front office experience.
